JSA specializes in designing and implementing large and small group multi-stakeholder agenda setting and decision-making processes. Our niche focuses on using alternative dispute and conflict resolution techniques (fact-finding, facilitation, mediation, negotiation, consensus building, etc.) in public policy, civic engagement and organizational development processes related to achieving sustainable community development, environmental justice and smart growth.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or Associates Degree required.
  • Two-years work experience, preferably in a non-profit organization and/or for-profit business
  • Work in downtown Silver Spring, MD and/or downtown DC

Role

Provide logistical support for 1-3 projects.  Project assistants maybe assigned to a specific practice area and also work in concert with a Project Coordinator. Project Assistants report to an Associate, Senior Associate, Principal or Executive.

Compensation/Benefits

$30,000 to $40,000/year, Medical, Dental, Vision, Long-term/Short-term Disability, Life Insurance

Students will:
